3:46 How to build up hydrochloric acid

Today we’re going to talk about apple cider vinegar and mineral absorption. Yes, apple cider vinegar may help with mineral absorption, but I want to explain a few things about this.

Normally, in your stomach, you have a very acidic acid called hydrochloric acid. The pH of your stomach should be between 1-3. There are three main things your stomach acid is supposed to do.

1. It helps you break down protein
2. It helps kill pathogens
3. It helps with mineral absorption

Having the right amount of acid in your stomach can make minerals more bioavailable. If you don’t have enough stomach acid, then the absorption of certain minerals won’t be as efficient. We need this strong acid in the stomach to help absorb nutrients.

These minerals can include:

• Calcium
• Iron
• Magnesium
• Zinc
• Copper
• Cobalt

You also may not have 100% absorption of:

• Folic acid
• Vitamin C
• Vitamin D
• Vitamin A

 Causes of low stomach acid:

• Age
• Antacids
• Hypothyroidism
• Anemia
• H-pylori
• Gastric bypass

Achlorhydria: Where you have zero stomach acid.

Hypochlorhydria: Where you have low stomach acid.

Both of the above conditions can affect the absorption of minerals. They can also cause an issue called SIBO, which can affect your absorption of nutrients.

Can apple cider vinegar (ACV) help fix low stomach acid?
Apple cider vinegar can help with the absorption of food. There are also a lot of other apple cider benefits, and apple cider uses. But, fixing hydrochloric acid itself is not necessarily one of the effects of apple cider vinegar. It can help with mineral absorption, and it may even help inhibit microbes from growing in the small intestine.

But to actually build up hydrochloric acid there are other nutrients you need, such as:

• Chloride
• Sodium
• Potassium
• Zinc
• Iodine

Another great natural remedy to help build up apple cider vinegar is called betaine hydrochloride.

Prevent Adrenal Fatigue on Keto with this…

In this video, we’re going to talk about adrenal fatigue, and how to help prevent adrenal fatigue on keto.

What causes adrenal fatigue on keto?

When you start a keto plan, you lose a lot of water. This is because most people are on a high-carb diet, which causes fluid retention and sodium retention. When you get on keto, you lose fluid and salts. Salt is needed to support healthy adrenal glands. If the adrenal glands are already fatigued, when you start keto, you will lose more salt.

This means you may need more salt. But, if you’re going to do salt, you should always do sea salt. The best salt I would recommend is the Himalayan pink sea salt. Himalayan pink sea salt is unrefined. I recently found that table salt has some interesting ingredients, including dextrose (sugar). Table salt is a refined product. When you get salt, you want something more natural. You want something that has the whole package.

Himalayan pink sea salt benefits:

• It’s unrefined
• It has 84 minerals
• It’s unpolluted
• It has trace minerals
• It is antimicrobial
• It can help support healthy blood sugars
• It can help prevent cramping on keto

Symptoms that you need more sea salt:

1. Keto fatigue
2. Keto flu

You may also want to consume sea salt if you experience:

• Low blood pressure
• Fatigue
• Lightheadedness

**If you crave salt, you may also need more sea salt in your diet.

The Most Important Benefit of Autophagy: Will Surprise You

3:48 Cancer cells love glucose
4:08 Why is there damage to the mitochondria?
5:03 Can autophagy clean up the damage?

Today we’re going to talk about the most important benefit of autophagy.

What is autophagy?
Autophagy is a condition where your body is recycling old and damaged proteins in the body. I’m not talking just about hair and muscle. I’m talking about those little enzyme protein machines that do the work of the body. They’re at the cellular level, and they make body tissue.

Benefits of autophagy:

• It decreases the risk of disease
• It will help recycle protein as a survival mechanism
• It can help reduce pathogens in the body
• It protects neurons and heart cells
• It gets rid of advanced glycated end products and amyloid plaquing

**The most important benefit of autophagy is anti-cancer.

The difference between a normal cell and a cancer cell has to do with this one thing.

A normal cell has something called mitochondrial respiration.

A cancer cell has damage to this respiratory mechanism. When you damage this system, the cell starts to activate an ancient pathway that’s capable of fermenting glucose without the use of oxygen.

Cancer cells are hungry for glucose. Why would anyone want to consume a lot of sugar or glucose if they have cancer?

But why is there damage to the respiratory mechanism in the mitochondria? My theory is that it has something to do with the DNA that gets damaged. I believe it gets damaged because it’s simply not protected. Autophagy may have the ability to clean up this damage in the mitochondria.

Eat Avocados and Eggs for Amazing Hair and Nails

Check out what consuming avocados and eggs can do for your hair, nails, and skin.

1:15 Avocado benefits for hair, skin, and nails
3:15 Egg benefits for hair, skin, and nails

Today I want to talk about the benefits of avocados and eggs for healthy skin and for healthy hair and nails. I’m not talking about a topical mixture you would apply to your hair. Topical mixtures or oils like avocado oil might give you shiny hair, but your hair won’t absorb any nutrients from it because your hair is dead protein.

If you want really nice healthy hair, healthy skin, and healthy nails, then you would want to consume healthy fats like avocado and eggs with the yolks. Not use them topically.

Avocados are loaded with carotenoids. Carotenoids are a fat-soluble phytonutrient. Because there is a good amount of fats in avocados, you’re going to absorb these phytonutrients much better. If you combine avocado and eggs, you will have even better absorption. Consuming eggs and avocados on the keto diet, while also doing intermittent fasting, can result in really nice hair, nails, and skin.

Avocado benefits for hair, skin, and nails:

• Active vitamin A
• B5
• B6
• Copper
• Folate
• Vitamin K
• Magnesium
• Biotin
• Vitamin E
• Vitamin C
• Antioxidant properties
• Anti-inflammatory properties
• Monosaturated fats
• Oleic acid — 68%

Egg benefits for hair, skin, and nails:

• Highest quality protein
• All vitamins (except vitamin C)
• Minerals
• Trace minerals
• Essential fatty acids
• Phospholipids
• Vitamins A, D, E
• Carotenoids
• Omega 3

Today I want to cover how to make fasting easier with these 14 different things you can consume.

When you’re fasting, anything you consume other than water will break your fast to some degree. But, these things you can consume will have a very minor effect on your ability to get back into fasting. The biggest things that will break your fast are refined carbs or sugar.

Other things that will break your fast:

• Protein
• BCAA
• Collagen
• Bone broth

The two things that don’t seem to have much of an effect on insulin are:

1. Fats
2. Fiber

What to consume while fasting:

1. MCT oil
2. Coffee
3. Exogenous ketones
4. Tea
5. Electrolytes
6. Probiotics
7. B-vitamins
8. Apple cider vinegar (ACV) or Kombucha tea
9. Fiber
10. Erythritol/stevia/monk fruit
11. Lemon juice
12. Amino acid blend
13. Sea salt
14. H2O

Fasting vs Keto: What’s Better?

Fasting vs. keto, which do you think is the most effective?

Overview of Healthy Ketogenic Diet and Intermittent Fasting:

Timestamps
0:13 Ketogenic diet vs. intermittent fasting
2:08 Fasting vs. keto: which is better?
2:17 Combining fasting and keto

In this video, we’re going to talk about the ketogenic diet and intermittent fasting. I want to explain a little bit about both of these and compare which one is better.

Fasting vs. Keto:

The keto diet:

When we’re talking about keto, we’re talking about low-carb. You could do keto with zero carbs, but most people do a small number of carbs (20-50g). Every time you eat, no matter what you eat, you will stimulate GIP. GIP triggers a spike in insulin.

With the keto diet, you will stimulate certain genes that will help you in various ways. With ketosis, you will have some autophagy, but not as much as you would with fasting.

Fasting:

With fasting, you’re not eating any carbs because you’re not eating anything at all. Because you’re not consuming any carbs, you will have a lot more ketones than if you were doing keto. When you’re fasting, you will not stimulate GIP.

When you’re fasting, you will enhance genes that have to do with survival, anti-aging, and longevity. This will also benefit the brain and heart. You’re also going to get much more autophagy.

Which is better?

Initially, when you compare fasting and keto, you can see that fasting has a more powerful impact on your health than just ketosis. However, I think it’s best to combine fasting and keto together. This way, the benefits will be enhanced. Doing one will actually help the other. Combing the two will make doing both keto and fasting easier. It will also help you reach your health and weight loss goals much faster.

2:47 Low-fat diets may cause cognitive impairment

In this video, I’m going to talk about why you might want to think twice before going on a low-fat diet.

I’ve done some extensive research on low-fat diets, and I put all of my research links up above. Check them out.

Over 65 studies show that those on a low-fat diet experienced less weight loss. Even more, their blood lipids or cholesterol went up. It also causes a significantly lower metabolic rate.

Hormones are significantly affected by low-fat diets. The lower your sex hormones, including testosterone and estrogen. Why? Because all sex hormones are created with cholesterol and fat. Without fat, you starve off those hormones.

Insulin resistance is another problem with low-fat diets. Compared to those on a low-carb diet, those on low-fat diets experience far more insulin resistance and type II diabetes.

Several studies also show that low-fat diets actually increase mortality rates and shortens life span.

Research also shows that low-fat diets cause cognitive impairment. Why? Because your brain needs fat to function.

Overall, low-far diets are not sustainable and can have dire health consequences—so think twice.

4:41 Natural diarrhea remedies

Today we’re going talk about how to stop diarrhea naturally. One of the big problems, when you have diarrhea, is you can become very deficient in electrolytes and certain nutrients really fast. This can create huge problems for your heart and can cause dizziness.

If you have diarrhea you may be losing:

• Electrolytes
• Fluid
• Salt
• Probiotics
• Fiber
• Acid

Since you’re losing these important things, you need to add them back in. It’s also helpful to add in trace minerals as well.

What causes diarrhea:

• Viruses
• Bacteria
• Food poisoning
• Antibiotics
• Sugar alcohol
• Excess bile
• Gut dysfunction
• Drugs

In the large colon, we have a lot of microbes working together. They eat your fiber, and they ferment it turning it into certain beneficial acids called small-chain fatty acids. Those acids can feed the colon cells as well as give you energy, help with insulin resistance, and help boost your immunity. Both microbes and fiber are essential in preventing diarrhea.

It may be very beneficial to put back in the probiotics by taking an effective supplement. Kefir also has natural friendly bacteria, and kombucha tea has lactic acid, which may be helpful.

Sources of fiber that may be beneficial if you have diarrhea:

• Pickles
• Sauerkraut
• Kimchi
• Berries (blackberries)
• Carob powder

7 Sneaky Viral Strategies that Hack Your Immune System

These viral strategies may surprise you. Check this out.

1:06 7 viral strategies

Today I want to cover 7 sneaky viral strategies. Viruses are very devious. They are much smaller than bacteria. Viruses are not really alive, but they also aren’t dead.

A virus is like a small sack that has a genetic copy machine, and it has the ability to copy itself over and over. But, it can only do that if it invades your cells. It leeches on to the cell, sucks the life out of it, and replicates. However, certain cells, like your red blood cells, don’t have DNA, so the virus can’t leech on to them.

Once they start to replicate, they begin to create a lot of damage within the immune system. The immune system sees this foreign invader and creates a lot of inflammation and more collateral damage.

7 sneaky viral strategies:

1. Viruses can infect your B and T cells
2. Viruses can infect your monocytes
3. Viruses can infect your thymus
4. Viruses can escape the antibody response
5. 2 viruses can invade one cell and escape the attack from the immune system
6. Viruses can escape cytokines
7. Certain viruses can downgrade vitamin D receptors
