Today I’m going to cover the herbs that have the most antioxidants. Out of all of the categories of foods, herbs are at the top of this list as far as the antioxidants they provide. Antioxidants are additional health benefits to the vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients in food. This would also include phytonutrients.

Fresh herbs that contain the most antioxidants:
1. Oregano
• Oregano is antimicrobial

2. Sage
• Sage supports the parasympathetic nervous system and inhibits the sympathetic nervous system

3. Peppermint
• Peppermint may be good for your digestive system

4. Thyme
• Thyme is antimicrobial

5. Lemon balm
• Lemon balm may help calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and promote sleep

6. Rosemary
• Rosemary is antimicrobial, and rosemary oil may help stimulate hair growth

1. Clove
