David’s Testimonial

David crashed his mountain bike and broke his neck. He had a beautiful near-death-experience (NDE), before he regained consciousness and was able to call for help. A very skilled surgeon put his spine back together (from a shattered C1, C2 and detached C3), and then David worked on his post-surgery healing by moving, meditating, and focusing on love.

2:01 Natural remedies for this situation

In this video, we’re going to talk about your thyroid health. I’m going to share with you how to fix your thyroid by fixing your liver. There is a significant link between hypothyroid conditions and a fatty liver. The higher the liver enzymes, the worse the thyroid is.

80% of the conversion of T4 (the inactive thyroid hormone) to T3 (the active thyroid hormone) occurs through the liver. 20% is through the kidney. If there is kidney damage, that will also inhibit the conversion.

If you can improve the liver just a little bit, you may be able to create huge improvements in the thyroid. In the majority of cases, the root cause of a fatty liver is fructose or a high carb diet. It’s not the fat. It’s the carbs.

Natural remedies for this situation:

1. Selenium
2. Keto and intermittent fasting
3. Milk thistle
4. Choline
5. Zinc
6. Vitamin D

Check Out What Happened When I Fasted for 21 Hours: Dr. Berg’s Intermittent Fasting Experiment

I did an intermittent fasting experiment on myself. Here’s what happened.

2:09 More health benefits of intermittent fasting

3:02 My challenge

In this video, I want to tell you what happened when I increased my fasting to 21 hours.

Normally I eat around 12-1 and 6-7. I get about 18 hours of fasting with a six-hour eating window. For my intermittent fasting experiment, I had my first meal at 3 and my last meal at 6. That’s just a three-hour eating window, which gives me 21 hours of fasting. This may not seem like much, but it made a significant difference in my cognitive function.

The intermittent fasting benefits I experienced after 21 hours:

• Improved memory
• More focus
• Better learning
• Better at locating things
• More creativity
• Better mood
• Increased productivity
• More organized
• More decisive

Here’s what happens. You increase something called BDNF. This is a protein that helps you grow neurons and slow aging.

More health benefits of intermittent fasting:

• Increases ketones
• Increases autophagy
• Improves synapses

You may already be doing this intermittent fasting pattern, or you may be doing OMAD (one meal a day). But, if you’re at 18 hours or less, I challenge you to start trying 21 hours of fasting. Try it for three days, and then evaluate your cognitive function.

Fat Soluble vs Water Soluble Vitamins: When Do You Take Them?

Fat-soluble vitamins vs. water-soluble vitamins, what’s the difference, and when should you take them? Watch this short video to find out.

0:58 When to take fat-soluble vitamin vs. water-soluble vitamins
1:15 Why fat-soluble vitamins are toxic in large amounts
2:22 Why you should take water-soluble vitamins while fasting

In this video, I want to talk to you about fat-soluble vitamins vs. water-soluble vitamins. When should you take them, and what is the difference?

Fat-soluble vitamins are stored in your fat cells and in your liver. Water-soluble vitamins are not stored—if you consume too much, your body will get rid of what you don’t need.

Fat soluble vitamins include:
• Vitamin A
• Vitamin D
• Vitamin E
• Vitamin K1
• Vitamin K2

These vitamins are able to penetrate the fat layer of your cells and go deeper. They can even affect your DNA and mitochondria. Water-soluble vitamins are not capable of this.

Water soluble vitamins include:
• B vitamins
• Vitamin C

You want to take fat-soluble vitamins along with fatty foods. So it’s best to have fat-soluble vitamins with food. They are absorbed far better this way.

You can take water-soluble vitamins any time—you don’t need fat to help with absorption.

Fat-soluble vitamins are toxic in large amounts. Unlike water-soluble vitamins, fat-soluble vitamins are stored, and excess amounts cannot be released through the urine.

Keep in mind that you should be taking water-soluble vitamins while you fast since your body doesn’t store them very well.
