Today I’m going to cover a few bad food and drug combinations. Ideally, the thing to do is to get so healthy that the need for drugs isn’t even there.
Bad food and drug combinations:
1. Tylenol and alcohol
• This could potentially cause liver toxicity. If you have an alcoholic drink, you wouldn’t want to consume Tylenol within 12 hours.
2. Sedatives and alcohol
• This could potentially drop your blood pressure, respiration, and your heart rate.
3. Calcium channel blockers and grapefruit
• Grapefruit has a certain chemical that blocks the breakdown of drugs through the liver. This could potentially cause the drugs to accumulate and create toxicity.
4. Bronchodilators and caffeine
• This could potentially cause a massive stimulation that could mess with the heart or heart rhythm and even trigger seizures.
5. Beta-blockers and high protein foods
• This could potentially greatly increase the bioavailability of the drugs creating side effects.

Why is it so important to do keto and intermittent fasting at the same time? Let me explain.

Today we’re going to talk about why it’s important to do keto and intermittent fasting together.
The common thread between doing the diet and doing fasting is that you’re lowering glucose and insulin. This can help provide many different amazing benefits.
Potential benefits of lowering insulin and glucose:
• Weight loss
• Regulated blood sugar levels
• Better mood
• Improved cognitive function
• Decreased inflammation
• Fewer cravings
There are unique additional benefits that can occur with fasting, including:
1. An epigenetic effect (turn off bad genes and turn on good genes)
2. Autophagy (recycle dead cells and damaged proteins)
3. Turn on genes (DNA repair, adapt to stress)
4. Increased antioxidant network
5. Decreased inflammation
6. Decreased risk of cancer
7. Increased growth hormone (anti-aging, fat-burning, and loss of muscle prevention)
8. Increased stem cells (vital for your immune system)
9. Gut microbe diversity
10. Migration motor complex
Intermittent fasting can decrease your appetite even more than if you were to do keto alone. I believe the combination of keto and intermittent fasting is essential because the higher amount of carbs you would eat if you only did fasting could prevent some of the effects of fasting. But, if you were to do keto without intermittent fasting, you wouldn’t get the effects of fasting.
By doing keto and intermittent fasting together, you could potentially:
• Look younger
• Get thinner
• Be happier
• Get smarter
• Have fewer diseases

I experienced severe problems with fatigue for a very long time. Today we’re going to talk about the foods I’ve found to maximize energy. You may be tired from other things like lack of sleep or stress. But, in this video, we’re going to focus on the foods that can affect your energy both negatively and positively.
I believe you’ll actually be more successful if you focus more on avoiding certain foods rather than focusing on the foods you are eating. If you’re eating foods that are supposed to boost your energy, but at the same time, you’re eating foods that should be avoided, you’re not going to get your energy back.
The most important thing is to avoid all sugars and carbs. Your carbs should be below 30g. Frequent eating also kills your energy.
The best foods for maximum energy:
Protein — Too much protein can cause you to be tired. You need a moderate amount of protein (3-8 oz. per meal). The meat should be fatty, not lean.
Key minerals — You need potassium and magnesium. Salads and vegetables are great sources of both potassium and magnesium.
B vitamins — Refined grains deplete B vitamins. Nutritional yeast is a great source of B vitamins.
Fats — MCT oil, animal fats, fatty nuts, and eggs are great sources of fat to help boost energy.

3:34 How much salt to consume
Today we’re going to talk about how having low amounts of salt could make you tired. There is a symptom called keto fatigue, which is so easy to fix if you understand this mechanism.
Before doing keto, an average person is holding onto a lot of stored sugar (glycogen). For every gram of glucose that’s stored, there are three grams of fluid stored. When you start keto, you lose the water as well as salt. The loss of sodium triggers a hormone in your adrenals (aldosterone), which makes sure you don’t lose all of your sodium. The body needs sodium.
This is an important hormone for survival. But, when it’s increased, you lose potassium. Now, you’re low in sodium and potassium, which could lead to fatigue and muscle cramps. Because you lost water and salt, you could also become dehydrated. This can cause you to be thirsty and therefore drink more water.
But, you might not think to add salt to your water. When you drink more water without salt, you could worsen the sodium deficiency.
Increased aldosterone can also lead to:
• Insomnia
• High blood pressure
*A person may benefit from consuming 1-1.5 tsp. of salt per day.

In this video, we’re going to talk about why you may want to stop drinking tap water. Tap water is toxic. Especially if you live in the southern part of the United States, where there are high levels of estrogen in the water. These high levels of estrogen can shut down testosterone in men and put a woman into estrogen dominance.
There is also fluoride in the water, which can affect the thyroid and skin. On top of that, there is a chemical called chloramine, which is not good for the body.
The fact that there is a legal dose of these chemicals in tap water does not mean that they are safe. The legal limits of these contaminants have not been evaluated for 20 years.
A few chemicals that could be in your tap water:
1. Bromodichloromethane
2. Chloroform
3. Haloacetic acid
4. Nitrates
5. TTHM
Four of these five chemicals are known to cause cancer.
I have two water filters—one filters out the chemicals, and one filters out fluoride.

Today we’re going to talk about a recent study that found that keto induces cardiac fibrosis, which is scar tissue in the heart. Is this something to worry about?
When you evaluate a study, you want to make sure the data in the study is good and truthful. I don’t believe that the version of keto they used in this study is one anyone would actually do.
Let’s look at the type of diet the researchers actually put the rats on in this study:
• Casein — 16.5% of the diet (inflammatory)
• L-cystine — .25% of the diet
• Cellulose — 8.2% of the diet
• Soybean oil — 4.25% of the diet (inflammatory)
• Cocoa butter — 62.7% of the diet
• Dicalcium phosphate — 2.1% of the diet
• Calcium carbonate — .9% of the diet
• Mineral mix — 1.6% of the diet
Keep in mind if a person has cardiac fibrosis, we know there was inflammation going on. Is anyone actually consuming these ingredients? The only way they get away with calling this keto is because it’s low-carb. The diet that they compared this to had different sugars and was just as bad.
Rats also have different physiology from humans. They don’t have gallbladders, and they aren’t designed to consume a lot of fat. To apply this version of keto to rats and then imply that if a person consumes a ketogenic diet they’re going to get fibrosis, seems crazy. I don’t believe this will happen.
Healthy keto is highly anti-inflammatory. It could help prevent scarring by getting rid of inflammation.

In this video, we’re going to talk about what to do if you have a constant urge to urinate.
There are three primary causes of this issue:
1. Urinary tract infections
2. High blood sugar, prediabetes, or insulin resistance
3. Kidney stones
Though they may be rarer, there can be some other causes of having a constant urge to urinate. If you’re a male, it could be an enlarged prostate. If you’re a female, it could be because of a fibroid.
To ensure your bladder is empty when you have the feeling of still needing to urinate after using the restroom, press just above your pubic bone. If you have an increased urge to urinate, this is a sign that your bladder is not completely empty. This could be caused by an enlarged prostate.
The best remedies for an enlarged prostate are:
• Go on a healthy keto diet
• Avoid dairy products
• Consume pumpkin seeds after each meal
• Consume large salads
• Lower your DHT with saw palmetto (for men)
The #1 thing to do if you have a constant urge to urinate is to go on a low-carb diet. Get on Healthy Keto and intermittent fasting.
Lastly, these foods, drinks, and supplements can help:
• D-mannose (1500mg/day)
• Kohki tea
• Pumpkin seeds

5:40 Bulletproof your immune system *free course!
Let’s talk about how to get the benefits of vitamin D without the toxicity. The danger of vitamin D stems from too much calcium in the blood. Hypercalcemia is the big side effect of too much vitamin D.
Hypercalcemia could potentially lead to:
• Kidney stones
• Constipation
• Frequent urination
• Dementia
• Depression
• Ulcers
• Abdominal pain
However, these potential side effects can be reversible if someone stops taking vitamin D. It’s also rare for someone to have vitamin D toxicity. When vitamin D is measured in the blood, if it’s greater than 150, that can indicate toxicity.
A few things to help prevent vitamin D toxicity:
1. Vitamin K2 (100mcg for every 10,000 IUs of vitamin D)
• Vitamin D needs other things like vitamin K2 to work. Vitamin K2 helps keep calcium out of the soft tissues.
2. Bile salts
• Bile salts are important to help with the absorption of vitamin D.
3. Drink at least 2.5 liters of fluid per day
• This should be enough to help keep the calcium from forming kidney stones.
4. Magnesium
• Magnesium and vitamin D work together. It’s very important in the metabolism of vitamin D.
5. Limit dairy
• Limit the amount of dairy you consume when you take a lot of vitamin D.
Amounts of vitamin D you may want to consider taking:
• For maintenance: 10,000-20,000 IUs
• For therapeutic purposes (short term use): 20,000-50,000 IUs
Vitamin D toxicity is very rare. But, vitamin D deficiency or insufficiency is extremely common. 65% of the population has a vitamin D deficiency, and 95% of the population has a vitamin D insufficiency.

We’re going to cover what can happen if you’re on a low-sodium diet, which type of salt is best to consume, how to consume the salt you need, and more.
We’re also going to talk about immune health. And how healthy you are metabolically and your nutrition status can directly determine how well you can fight off viruses.

Synthetic meat has been promoted as plant-based clean meat and a healthy alternative to processed meat. But is it really plant-based, clean, and less processed?
There are a lot of problems with these ingredients that can potentially lead to health issues. Not only that, but synthetic meat is not sustainable to live healthily off of. If something is sustainable, it has to improve your health.
Have you consumed synthetic meat? If so, did it make you feel better or give you any additional health benefits?

Sudden changes in weight have nothing to do with losing or gaining fat. Here’s why!
Timestamps

1:51 How to know if keto is working
3:10 How to bulletproof your immune system
In this video, we’re going to talk about rapid weight gain and weight loss.
Sudden changes in weight have nothing to do with losing or gaining fat. Let’s say you start keto, and the next day you are four pounds lighter—this is due to fluid loss, not fat loss.
As your body stores fat in the form of glycogen, you also store water.
For every one gram of fat, your body stores three grams of water.
High-carb diets cause you to retain even more water because your levels of stored sodium increase.
Those with a lot of fluid retention often see the fluid build up around their feet and ankles.
The best indicator of success on keto is if your cravings are going away—are you less hungry between meals?
If you can’t go without food for a few hours, then you know there’s a lot of room to improve your diet.
The best natural diuretics for getting rid of excess fluids are:
• Ketones
• Dandelion
• Uva Ursi
• Horsetail
• Celery
• Potassium
However, these things won’t work unless your carbohydrates are low. Get on a healthy keto diet and intermittent fasting plan.

• Glyphosate/Atrazine (consume organic non-GMO foods)
• Red dyes (do healthy keto)
• Tap water (be sure to filter your water)

A lot of people take baking soda for acid reflux. Is this good or bad?
The stomach should be extremely acid with a pH between 1-3. This is normal. You need your stomach acids to be at that pH to digest proteins, kill microbes, and absorb minerals.
When food goes through the stomach and then into the small intestine, the pancreas releases bicarbonate.
Our bodies are supposed to have bicarbonate in the small intestine, not the stomach, to neutralize the stomach acid so it doesn’t damage the small intestine. Bicarbonates are alkaline.
Baking soda is sodium bicarbonate. If you’re putting baking soda into your stomach, you’re going to mess up your digestion down the road.
Instead of just trying to treat the symptoms, you need to ask yourself why you might be getting acid reflux to begin with.
Normally, the valve at the top of the stomach isn’t shutting, so the stomach acid is going up into the esophagus. This could happen due to a vitamin B1 deficiency or because you don’t have enough stomach acid. The valve actually closes if you have enough stomach acid.
Taking apple cider vinegar or betaine hydrochloride can help increase stomach acid and potentially help with acid reflux. A combination of betaine hydrochloride and zinc carnosine may also be effective.
Potential side effects of taking too much sodium bicarbonate over time:
• Vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Kidney damage
• Depressed breathing
• Worsened cardiac heart failure
• Cerebral hemorrhage
• Calcium deficiency
• Potassium deficiency
• Belching/bloating

Do you know what the most common allergies are? Check this out!
Timestamps
0:00 Most common allergies
1:25 Autoimmune diseases
2:40 Remedies for allergies
Today we’re going to talk about the three most common allergies.
1. Milk (casein and whey protein)
The symptoms of a milk allergy may be related to the skin, gut, or lungs.
2. Shellfish
75% of shellfish allergies involves crustaceans (shrimp, crab, lobster) rather than mollusks (clams, oysters, mussels, scallops). But, a person can be allergic to both crustaceans and mollusks. Cooking shellfish for a longer time does not decrease the allergy. There is also a hidden ingredient in the supplement glucosamine that can trigger this allergy.
3. Peanuts
Peanuts are legumes, and your body could be allergic to that protein.
The protein in milk and the protein in wheat are usually associated with many different autoimmune diseases. This could mean that if you have an autoimmune disease, there may be certain foods that you would want to avoid, like milk and wheat.
I believe one of the most important things you could do to help reduce an allergy is fasting. Fasting, especially periodic prolonged fasting, can increase stem cells for your immune system. You could potentially regrow a new immune system while fasting.
Fasting may also help reduce inflammation and increase the T cells. T cells are a part of the immune system and are very important to help reduce the risk for allergies and autoimmune diseases. Vitamin D may be beneficial as well.

Today I’m going to cover lard vs. vegetable oil. Lard is pig fat. Tallow is beef or lamb fat. We’re talking about the type of lard or tallow that is organic and from pastured and grass-fed animals.
Some people have a fixed idea that saturated fats, especially lard, equals clogged arteries. Before Crisco was invented, everyone cooked with lard or tallow, and it wasn’t considered bad. After Crisco (which is trans fat) was invented, it was marketed as a healthier substitute to lard and tallow (which are saturated fats). However, trans fats were banned by the FDA in 2015.
* Unsaturated fats are very unstable, especially when heated. They can cause inflammation, insulin resistance, oxidation, and free radical damage.
In summary, I believe lard and tallow are much healthier than vegetable oils.

Today we’re going to talk about what could be behind an enlarged prostate that can potentially affect urination.
When a man ages, the prostate enlarges. The prostate is a gland that wraps around a little tube that’s coming from your bladder. If the prostate enlarges, it can shut down the tube and affect the ability to urinate.
A person’s hormones can be classified into two categories:
Anabolic — has everything to do with building something up
Catabolic — has everything to do with breaking something down
When you eat food, there is a catabolic effect. Enzymes break down food into basic building blocks like amino acids and fatty acids. Then, anabolic hormones kick in and make body tissue out of the building blocks. When the prostate enlarges, there is something anabolic going on.
Milk has the majority of the anabolic hormones above. Milk is a very powerful anabolic substance that is turned into cheese, yogurt, kefir, and more. If you have problems with urination or an enlarged prostate, you may want to stop consuming milk and milk products.
Sugar or a high-carb diet can trigger insulin. Insulin can potentially cause an enlarged prostate. You may want to stop consuming sugar and get on the healthy keto plan.
Estrogen can also potentially cause an enlarged prostate. Soy is a big source of estrogen. Non-organic vegetables and foods can also have chemicals that mimic estrogen.
Potential remedies for the prostate:
1. Saw palmetto
2. Green tea
3. Pumpkin seeds
4. Zinc
5. Lycopene
A diet for someone with an enlarged prostate:
• Healthy keto
• Intermittent fasting
• Consume more cruciferous vegetables
• Consume beets
• Consume tomatoes
