4:15 The best foods to eat for wrinkles
5:12 Fasting and exercise for the skin

Today we’re going to talk about wrinkles. Let’s dive into exactly what happens to your skin as you age and what to do about it.

A few things that happen to your skin as you age:
• Loss of elastin fibers
• Loss of collagen
• Loss of growth hormone
• Decreased ability to retain moisture
• Decreased ability to secrete oil
• Decreased ability to repair

The most damaging things to the skin:
• Too much sun exposure
• Too much stress (cortisol)
• Too much insulin
• Smoking
• Alcohol
• Too much sterilization or cleansing of the skin

Some people have a habit of over sterilizing and over-cleansing their skin, leading to redness and reducing the ability to heal. Instead, it may be best to focus on your diet to help improve your skin.

You want to consume foods that are high in things, such as:
• Flavonoids
• Carotenoids
• Tocopherols
• Vitamin A
• Vitamin D
• Vitamin E
• Vitamin C
• Magnesium
• Manganese
• Vitamin K
• Selenium
• Zinc
• Omega-3 fatty acids

Foods to help prevent and get rid of wrinkles:
• Bell peppers (especially red bell peppers)
• Avocados
• Pomegranate seeds
• Watercress
• Blueberries (organic and not dried)
• Large nutrient-dense salads (every day)
• Fatty meats, fish, and seafood

Intermittent fasting in combination with periodic prolonged fasting is also essential for healthy skin. Exercise and good sleep are both also important to promote healthy, nice skin.

In this video, we’re going to talk about why eating eggs helps your brain.

1. Eggs yolks provide choline, which boosts your cognitive function and mood. Choline also acts as a bile salt, which helps with absorbing fat-soluble nutrients.

2. Eggs yolks provide omega-3 fatty acids, which help reduce inflammation, reduce the risk of blood clots and stroke, and provide the raw material for healthy brain grey matter.

3. Eggs provide healthy cholesterol, which is important for the creation of vitamin D, cell membranes, and hormones.

4. Eggs are low in carbs, which promotes ketosis.

5. Eggs contain many important nutrients, including B12, B6, and folate.

Overall, eggs are incredible for supporting the health of your brain. They are a great addition to the Healthy Keto diet.

Beets have a lot of incredible benefits, including supporting liver detoxification! Check this out!

0:45 Other benefits of beets
2:10 How to detox your liver with beets
2:20 Can you have beets on keto?

Today we’re going to talk about how you can use beets to support liver detoxification. Beets have a lot of amazing properties. They can actually bind and hook up toxins and poisons and convert them to water-soluble particles. Beets can essentially help transform poisons into non-poisons.

Other benefits of beets:
• They support the eyes
• They support the blood pressure and arteries
• They help reduce fat from accumulating on the liver
• They help prevent DNA damage (decreasing the risk of cancer and shrinking tumors in certain places in the body)
• They are loaded with vitamin C, manganese, and copper

If you’re going to consume beets, I would recommend that you steam them for no longer than 15 minutes. They’re great to have on salads. Beets are higher are high on the glycemic index, but they have a low glycemic load because they’re high in fiber. This means that they won’t spike your blood sugars unless you juice them. You can steam them, cook them (but don’t overcook them), or have pickled beets.

In this video, we’re going to talk about safer SSRI alternatives.

What are SSRIs?

SSRI stands for selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor.

Within our neurons, there is a release of serotonin from one point to another. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter—which is like a message sent between one neuron and other through a synapse.

After the serotonin (message) is received, a lot of it is recycled to preserve efficiency.

An SSRI blocks the recycling of serotonin. This increases the amount of serotonin in the synapse temporarily.

SSRIs are primarily used for:
• Depression
• Anxiety
• OCD

SSRI medications can have some serious side effects, including:
• Suicidal thoughts
• Increased risk of bone fracture
• Restless legs syndrome
• Jaw spasms
• Loss of libido
• Numbness in genitals
• Loss of sexual pleasure
• Loss of sex organ function
• Increase in violent acts
• GI bleeding
• Heart disease

There are some safer SSRI alternatives available. If you decide you’d like to try these alternatives, it’s important that you work with your doctor to make changes to your medications. Do not reduce or stop taking your medications without your physician’s approval.

Safer SSRI alternatives include:
1. St. John’s Wort – mimics serotonin and increases neurotransmitters
2. Vitamin D – boosts your mood
3. Fasting – greatly increases your mood
4. SAMe – improves depression symptoms
5. Omega-3 fatty acids – large doses can improve your mood
6. Folate, B12, and other B vitamins – helps reduce side effects

You also want to improve your diet by going on Healthy Keto. A healthy diet is one of the best things you can do to improve your mood.

Today I want to cover a potentially safe alternative to Adderall. Adderall is a medication that creates various effects.

Adderall is used for:
• ADHD
• Narcolepsy
• A study aid
• An athletic performance enhancer

Potential side effects of Adderall:
• Insomnia
• High blood pressure
• High pulse rate
• Raynaud’s
• GI issues
• Nose bleeds
• Decreased libido
• Anxiety
• Psychosis
• Addiction

There is an interesting natural alternative that has virtually no side effects. It’s called Mucuna Pruriens or velvet bean. Mucuna Pruriens increases L-dopa, which turns into dopamine.

Mucuna Pruriens (velvet bean) benefits:
• Increased focus and concentration
• Decreased brain fog
• Increased ability to learn
• Increased memory
• Increased mood
• Decreased stress
• It’s neuroprotective

You may want to cycle this remedy by taking it for four days in a row and then not taking it for three days in a row and so forth.

I think this remedy will work a lot better if you also correct your diet by doing Healthy Keto and intermittent fasting. The remedy may help with the symptoms, but you really want to help correct the root problem by fixing your diet.

How to enhance this remedy and help fix the root problem:
• Feed the brain ketones (do the keto diet)
• Take MCT oil or exogenous ketones
• Take vitamin B1 (in the form of nutritional yeast)
• Do aerobic exercise
• Get vitamin D (from the sun or take at least 10,000 IUs)
• Reduce EMF
• Do fasting (two meals with no snacks)

Your gallbladder or liver may be the cause of your right-sided shoulder and neck tightness. Here’s what you can do about it.

Timestamps
0:00 Right-sided shoulder and neck pain
3:39 Remedy for right shoulder pain
3:50 What causes right-sided shoulder and neck pain?
5:37 Remedies for right shoulder and neck pain

I had right-sided shoulder and neck pain for over a decade and didn’t know what was causing it. I finally found out what the real problem was, and in this video, I’m going to share what really causes right-sided tightness or pain in the head, neck, shoulder, or back—and what you can do about it.

The liver is on the right side of the body. Your liver generates bile, and it flows down through the bile ducts into the gallbladder, where it’s concentrated. With the help of the pancreas, bile helps you break down fats.

There are a few things that can cause this process not to work correctly and cause pain and tightness, including:
• A fatty liver
• Liver cirrhosis
• Bile backup
• A stone or sludge

If you have pain or tightness on the right side, consider your gallbladder. If you have pain on the left side, it could be your pancreas. I believe one of the best natural remedies for right shoulder and neck pain is purified bile salts.

Potential causes of right-sided shoulder and neck pain:
• Unsaturated fatty acids (omega-6 fatty acids)
• Nuts
• Chemicals in the food or drinks you consume
• Refined carbs
• Consuming excess fats on keto when not adapted

A few things to do:
• Consume more omega-3 fatty acids (salmon, sardines, cod liver oil)
• Consume organic foods
• Consume fewer nuts
• Do the healthy version of the keto diet
• Increase the number of vegetables you consume
• Do regular intermittent fasting and periodic prolonged fasting

Let’s talk about natural flavors. When something says it has natural flavors, this doesn’t mean it’s vegan.

So, how do they make flavoring taste like something and keep it natural? Well, they use the essence of something like spice, fruit, vegetables, and many other things, including meat, seafood, poultry, and egg. This means that a plant-based veggie burger could contain animal products when they add natural flavoring.

Artificial flavoring has to do with synthetic chemicals that could come from petroleum or other chemicals.

When dry flavors are used versus liquid, you have to use various carriers. The most common carrier is maltodextrin, which is the highest thing on the glycemic index. All of my products use a different carrier—not maltodextrin.

The FDA also does not require labels to indicate what’s in their natural flavoring. Even MSG can be disguised as natural flavorings.

High Cortisol:

Physical work vs Exercise:

Benefits of Long Walks:

Find out the #1 sign of high cortisol and how to help lower your cortisol naturally.

0:15 Symptoms of high cortisol
2:10 #1 sign of high cortisol
4:00 Natural remedies for high cortisol

Today I’m going to share the best way to tell if you have high cortisol. Cortisol is the main stress hormone. If cortisol is too high, it can lead to a lot of different health problems.

High cortisol can potentially lead to issues, such as:
• Belly fat
• High blood pressure
• Allergies
• Asthma
• Acne
• Anxiety
• Low tolerance to stress
• Inflammation
• Blood sugar problems
• Cravings for carbs
• Decreased libido
• Decreased potassium
• Alkalosis

The #1 sign of high cortisol is if you wake up at about 2:00 am – 2:30 am every night. The pattern for high cortisol is waking up at about 2:00 am – 2:30 am with a lot of thoughts that keep you awake until about 8:00 am.

This happens because cortisol follows the circadian wave. Cortisol is normally supposed to be the lowest at about 2:00 am and the highest at 8:00 am. When you have high cortisol, everything is backward. You might also feel like you need a nap mid-day around 2:00 – 3:00 pm.

Potential remedies for high cortisol:
1. Improve your stress
2. Take long walks in nature
3. Do physical work to the point where you’re tired
4. Vitamin B1 (nutritional yeast)
5. Vitamin D3
6 . Potassium and magnesium
7. Apple cider vinegar

Eat One Brazil Nut Each Day

Consultants are available Monday through Friday from 8 am to 10 pm EST. Saturday & Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm EST. USA Only.

Let’s talk about why you should eat one Brazil nut every day. One Brazil nut contains roughly between 68-91mcg of selenium. Selenium is essential, and many people are deficient. The daily value of selenium that we need is about 55mcg. This means just one Brazil nut a day could potentially prevent a deficiency.

Selenium is a trace mineral. It’s very difficult to get selenium from plants and animals because selenium is deficient in many soils. Certain fertilizers can also make selenium unavailable in the soil.

I believe it’s best to consume an organic Brazil nut because you don’t know if they spray these nuts after they harvest them.

Selenium is a very powerful antioxidant, and it’s a building block to make glutathione. Glutathione is one of the most powerful antioxidants in the body. Selenium also has the ability to decrease TPO antibodies by 21%, which has to do with Hashimoto’s.

Potential benefits of selenium:
• It may protect against cancer
• It supports the cardiovascular system
• It supports the immune system
• It supports the thyroid conversion
• It helps build glutathione
• It decreases the toxic effects of mercury, lead, cadmium, and other heavy metals

0:18 Is keto good for cancer?
1:05 Ketones explained
2:30 What is the best diet if you have cancer?

Let’s talk about cancer and ketones. There has been a debate on whether the ketogenic diet is good or bad for people with cancer, and also whether or not the keto diet is the best diet once you get cancer. Here is my viewpoint based on the data I have.

I believe that a healthy ketogenic diet with intermittent fasting and periodic prolonged fasting is the best diet to help prevent cancer. I say this because I believe the cause of cancer is mitochondrial damage, and there is nothing that destroys the mitochondria more than metabolic syndrome, high insulin, and a diet high in sugar.

You have two different types of ketones:
1. Ketones that are produced by a low-carb diet
2. Ketones that are produced when you’re fasting

There is some evidence that shows that cancer cells can consume ketones. But, when you get your ketones from fasting, you also get a massive anticancer effect with the help of the immune system and the help of certain genetic things. The ketones that occur when fasting will not feed cancer like the ketones that occur when you’re just doing a low-carb diet.

When you’re fasting, your normal cells may also be a bit more protected from chemo and radiation, but cancer cells don’t get that protection. The ketones that occur from fasting may also enhance the effects of radiation.

But what if you already have cancer? The answer to this is evolving as more data emerges. We’re actually doing some very interesting research that involves strategic clinical trials done by high-level scientists. We’re trying to find a protocol that doesn’t involve massive amounts of fasting. But, right now, we know fasting is the most powerful weapon against cancer.

The eating plan for cancer is a low-carb, low-protein, low-fat diet that’s high in nutrient-dense vegetables. The problem is, what happens if you’re very thin? We’re not trying to go low-calorie, but this is a low-calorie diet because we’re trying to starve the cancer of various fuels. Then, you add fasting where you’re not eating at all. So, there are a few problems we still need to solve.

The cool thing about the phytonutrients from plants is that they are selective. This means that a lot of the phytonutrients from plants are anticancer and only affect cancer cells negatively and not your other cells.

Low zinc is the most common cause of gastric ulcers. Here’s why!

3:10 Share your success story!

In this video, we’re going to talk about why gastric ulcers are related to a zinc deficiency.

I wanted to find out what mainstream medicine thought about the relationship between your diet and ulcers. I looked it up, and this is what they said:

“Diet does NOT play an important role in causing or preventing ulcers.”

So what causes ulcers then? They say H. pylori, NSAIDs, stress, and alcohol are the only causes.

This is false information. Your diet does play a vital role in your risk of ulcers.

The biggest cause of ulcers is zinc deficiency.

Consuming refined grains and other carbohydrates can deplete zinc in your body because they are rich in phytates.

Many people have ulcers from refined carbs and don’t know they have one. In fact, 1/3 of people who have ulcers don’t have any symptoms.

Thankfully, there are some simple things you can do to increase your zinc.

The first thing you need to do is improve your diet. If you’re new to my channel, check out the links above to learn more about Healthy Keto.

While you’re improving your diet, you can also use zinc supplements until your zinc level is normalized.

The best remedies for ulcers include:
1. Take zinc carnosine
2. Fasting
3. Cabbage juice
4. Chlorophyll (wheatgrass juice powder)

In this video, we’re going to talk about how to avoid all keto side effects.

Many people are afraid of experiencing the keto flu or other side effects when going on a ketogenic diet. However, if you start on the healthy version of keto from the beginning, you shouldn’t experience any adverse side effects.

Here are the symptoms and remedies for common keto side effects.

1. Brain fog – This could be a vitamin B1 deficiency or low ketones—use nutritional yeast and MCT oil.

2. Gout/high uric acid – Take a green drink, like wheatgrass juice or other leafy green vegetable juice. This will regulate your pH.

3. High cholesterol – This means you need more bile salts to break down cholesterol.

4. Kidney stones – This could be not enough water or potassium citrate. 2 liters of water a day is ideal. Also, avoid high-oxalate foods, like almonds, spinach, and chocolate.

5. Digestion issues – Adjust vegetable intake (could be too much or not enough), take bile salts, avoid lectins, and take betaine hydrochloride or apple cider vinegar.

6. Acne – Avoid dairy products.

7. Palpitations & muscle cramps – Increase magnesium, potassium, and sea salt.

8. Irritability – Use vitamin B1.

9. Gallbladder pain – Avoid nuts and peanut butter.

10. Bad breath – Increase leafy greens and lower protein.

11. Rash – Increase B vitamins (nutritional yeast).

12. Fatigue or keto flu – Sea salt and potassium.

13. Sleeplessness – Increase calcium (calcium citrate or calcium lactate) and sea salt.

Let’s talk about the side effects of not eating breakfast. I used to promote consuming breakfast. It’s the most important meal of the day—right? Some people will say that there are a lot of negative health consequences associated with skipping breakfast.

The idea that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and that skipping breakfast is a bad thing basically started with a fear campaign to get people to eat more cereal and bacon.

I believe the idea that eating breakfast is important is false. I believe if you skip breakfast, you could potentially help prevent certain health problems.

The real potential side effects of skipping breakfast:
• Weight loss
• Less of an appetite
• Mental clarity
• Faster metabolism
• Fewer cravings
• Better mood

Today I want to cover the best protein for recovery from exercise, stress, and sickness. You have protein that is absorbed in the body and protein that’s actually used by the body. Only a small portion of protein is utilized in the repair action and in providing the raw material to build new protein. Proteins are different combinations of amino acids. The rest is either wasted or used as fuel.

Different examples of proteins in the body:
• Muscle
• Hair
• Nails
• Tendons
• Ligaments
• Fascia
• Cartilage
• Skin
• DNA/RNA
• Cellular machines inside the cells
• Enzymes
• Hormones
• Lipoproteins
• Blood
• Immune cells

Best protein for recovery:
• Breast milk
• Eggs

Proteins that aren’t great for recovery:
• Whey
• Soy
• BCCA

Keto aminos is a blend of essential amino acids that can provide a 99% utilization rate and only 1% waste or fuel. This is not a dietary protein. It’s a supplement that can assist in the recovery process.

Today we’re going to talk about intermittent fasting for ADHD. Some fascinating research shows that intermittent fasting and prolonged fasting may significantly affect the brain’s frontal lobe and create significant improvements in cognition.

Fasting may potentially help improve cognitive functions, including:
• Focus
• Memory
• Concentration
• Clarity
• Creativity

The study relates to improving the front part of the brain, which is involved with:
• Paying attention
• Making decisions
• Organizing
• Planning

Experts will say that ADHD is a chemical imbalance, that it’s genetics, or that the brain is somehow rewired for these symptoms. But, these theories have never been proven. There are medications, but they have side effects that may even potentially create the same symptoms they’re supposed to get rid of.

Basically, with fasting, you stop feeding the brain glucose. As a survival mechanism, the body switches over to making a preferred source of fuel called ketones.

Certain parts of the brain need glucose, but the body can make the glucose it needs from non-carbohydrate sources like fat and protein. You don’t need to consume glucose to feed the brain glucose.

When you fast, you give the brain ketones. Ketones can do many incredible things, including potentially improving cognitive functions.

If you have any problems with focus, concentration, or clarity, you may want to try fasting as well as a few other things, including:
• Vitamin B1 (nutritional yeast)
• Zinc
• Omega-3 fatty acids

In this video, we’re going to talk about stress-induced infections.

The following infections can be connected to stress:
• Tuberculosis (TB)
• Herpes simplex (cold sores)
• Shingles
• H-pylori (ulcers)
• Common cold
• HIV

Many viruses can lay dormant until a stress event weakens your immune system. Stress can significantly reduce your natural immune function. This is why many infections happen right after a major stress event.

There are two types of stress: acute and chronic. Acute stress affects the innate immune system—this is the part of the immune system you’re born with. Chronic stress affects the acquired immune system—this is the part of the immune system that you develop when you’re exposed to certain pathogens.

When you go through stress, your body releases cortisol. Cortisol can suppress white blood cells. White blood cells are a vital part of healthy immune function. So when you’re stressed, you don’t have that barrier to help protect your body from infections.

Stress can also make you susceptible to food allergies, autoimmune disorders, and slow wound healing.

In summary, stress can inhibit normal immune function and lead to stress-induced infections because of increased cortisol. It’s crucial to maintain healthy stress levels.

Exercise vs. Physical Work: What is Better for Sleep?

Could housework or a hobby be better for your sleep than a workout at the gym? Find out!

In this video, we’re going to talk about exercise vs. physical work for better sleep.

Which is better for sleep—exercise or physical work? When I say physical work, I mean yard work, cleaning, building something, remodeling, and jobs that involve using a wide variety of muscles.

Both exercise and physical work increase your oxygen, muscle, and endurance and lower your stress. However, exercise is very predictable and repetitive, while physical work is more varied and asymmetrical.

Additionally, your focus while doing physical work isn’t on a repetitive physical motion—it’s focused on your project/job. This is why physical work is often more effective for stress reduction and mental health.

In summary, if you want to sleep better and reduce your stress, physical work is far more effective. This is a great excuse to work on a project you enjoy that involves physical activity.

I challenge you to try to do 1-2 hours of physical work around the house each day. See what it does for your sleep.
