Today we’re going to talk about green tea and its potential benefits concerning cancer protection. There are a lot of phytonutrients in green tea that have various benefits, but today we’re going to focus on cancer protection. 

There is a specific phytonutrient in green tea that has a lot of benefits, such as:
• It’s anti-obesity 
• It’s anti-lipids 
• It’s chemoprotective 
• It has antiproliferative properties 
• It can help a person increase their own antioxidants 
• It’s anti-cavity 
• It helps support healthy blood sugar levels 
• It’s antimicrobial 

There are two different mechanisms of green tea that may help promote cancer protection:

1. It’s a FAS inhibitor (fatty acid synthase)
Cancer needs this enzyme (FAS) to make part of its structure. The phytonutrient in green tea can help inhibit cancer from getting this enzyme. 

2. It’s a glutamine inhibitor 
Glutamine is a type of fuel that cancer can live on. Glutamine is in many different kinds of foods. If you have cancer, cancer cells can potentially live on glutamine. The phytonutrient in green tea may inhibit glutamine as a potential fuel source for cancer.

Some interesting data indicates that topical iodine could inactivate the papillomavirus, which could be behind warts and skin tags.

The type of iodine you may want to consider using is called povidone-iodine, which is an over the counter topical iodine. You could put a drop of the iodine on the skin tag and continue to do this for several days in a row. You may also want to put a little bandaid over it. You can do the same thing for a wart.

In this video, we’re going to talk about black tea. What are the most powerful benefits of black tea? Let’s take a look.

Black tea…

In my opinion, the biggest benefit of black tea has to do with its anti-cancer properties.

Black tea is an oxidized version of green tea. This gives you a new compound called theaflavin. This is a powerful phytonutrient that gives black tea a red tint.

FAS stands for fatty acid synthase. What does this mean? It’s an enzyme that helps you make lipids in your body. Cancer cells happen to need a lipid membrane to exist. The enzyme that makes this fatty acid is overexpressed in cancerous tissue.

Black tea helps inhibit this enzyme. In turn, this helps lower the risk of cancer.

There are many things that can cause inflammation, but did you know that your own fat could be one of them?

Today we’re going to talk about how your own fat could actually keep you inflamed. The fat cell is not only storage for triglycerides, but it also makes hormones. For example, it makes leptin, which decreases your appetite.

A few more interesting things about the fat cell:
• It’s involved in immunity (it makes stem cells)
• It’s involved in appetite
• It’s involved with blood pressure
• It’s involved with insulin regulation
• It’s involved with TNF alpha (cytokine)

TNF alpha (cytokine) is a signaling molecule that triggers inflammation. Your fat cells, specifically your visceral fat, trigger TNF alpha, which keeps the body inflamed. That inflammation then causes insulin resistance, which causes more fat and starts the cycle over again.

What you could do:
1. Keep your carbs below 20g per day
2. Do intermittent fasting
3. Take vitamin D (about 30,000 IUs)
4. Take choline
5. Take bile salts
6. Exercise (45 minutes per day)
