Today we’re going to talk about the best nutrient for fear. A certain nutrient deficiency can actually put you in a fear state.

A few examples of a fear state:
• Anxiety
• Doom and gloom
• Worry
• Panic attacks
• Paranoia
• Claustrophobia

A nutrient deficiency that’s most likely to put you in a state of fear is a vitamin B1 deficiency (thiamine). Without enough vitamin B1, certain parts of the body can’t work right. For example, you could have problems with the amygdala, the autonomic nervous system, or the adrenals.

The best source of vitamin B1 is nutritional yeast. You can get this as a powder or tablet. Just make sure it doesn’t come with synthetic fortification.

A few causes of a vitamin B1 deficiency:
• Drinking a lot of tea or coffee
• Consuming a lot of sugar or refined carbohydrates
• Stress
• Alcohol

It’s also possible to have a mutation of the MTHFR gene where you’re not converting certain B vitamins to the active form. But, if you have this issue, then there is a protocol you can follow involving folinic acid and methyl B12.

4:44 Need keto consulting?

In this video, we’re going to talk about the non-stress cause of adrenal fatigue symptoms.

Many of those with adrenal fatigue are highly stressed; others experience symptoms without any stress. Why?

There’s another cause of adrenal fatigue that I’m going to talk about today. First, let’s talk about the adrenal glands.

The adrenals have an outside and inside. The inside is all neurological tissue—this makes neurotransmitters. The outside is all glandular tissue—this makes cortisol and other hormones.

The insides of the adrenals are part of the fight or flight response, also known as the sympathetic nervous system. The parasympathetic nervous system counteracts the sympathetic nervous system.

If your parasympathetic nervous system isn’t working at 100%, you can develop a sympathetic nervous system dominance, where you feel like you’re stuck in stress even when there are no stressors.

The brain stem is very sensitive to vitamin B1, or thiamine. Low B1 can cause a low ability to adapt to stress.

Feeling dizzy when getting up quickly is a sign of this issue.

Symptoms of adrenal fatigue and a vitamin B1 deficiency include:
• Low ability to adapt to stress
• Anxiety
• Fatigue

The most common causes of a vitamin B1 deficiency include:
• Refined carbs and sugar
• Alcohol
• Coffee
• Tea
• Sulfites
• Antibiotics
• Diuretics

The Worst Intermittent Fasting Pattern is…

Healthy Ketogenic Diet and Intermittent Fasting:

Here is the worst intermittent fasting pattern and the best intermittent fasting pattern. Check this out.

Timestamps
0:00 Intermittent fasting patterns
0:33 The worst intermittent fasting pattern
1:46 The second to worst fasting pattern
2:25 The best intermittent fasting patterns
3:30 Benefits of fasting for 18-20 hours

This video is mainly for those first starting intermittent fasting. Of course, you want to do an intermittent fasting pattern that can help you achieve the massive benefits of fasting without the negatives like muscle loss and nutritional deficiencies.

I believe the worst intermittent fasting pattern is the 5:2 diet, also called the fast diet. With this diet, you can consume your normal foods for five days. Then, for two days, you’re going to go on a low-calorie diet (500 calories per day). To me, this isn’t really fasting.

You might experience some benefits during the two days of restricted calories if you’re consuming keto foods. But, the big problem is that it takes at least three days to actually get into ketosis. By the time the two days are up, you’ve barely gotten into ketosis. If you’re not in ketosis, you’re going to be hungry and have cravings—it’s going to be difficult.

I consider the second to worst fasting pattern to be the alternative-day fasting pattern. This is where you would eat what you want for one day, and the next day you would do a 500-600 calorie diet, then you alternate doing this each day. With this diet, you wouldn’t even scratch the surface of getting into ketosis. You may experience some benefits, but this isn’t really sustainable, and you wouldn’t be achieving the potential benefits that you could.

The best intermittent fasting patterns:
• 18:6 — This is where you fast for 18 hours and eat within a 6-hour window. Your first meal might be at 12 pm and your second meal would be at 6 pm.

• 20:4 — This gives you 20 hours of fasting and a four-hour eating window. Your first meal might be at 2 pm and your second meal at 6 pm.

• OMAD (one meal a day) — You would only consume one meal a day.

Potential benefits of fasting for 18-20 hours:
• You spike growth hormone
• You increase autophagy
• You decrease inflammation
• You improve your immune system
• You lose weight
• You could live longer
• Many cognitive benefits (better focus, concentration, and memory)
• Your mood may improve

Julio’s Testimonial in Spanish

Julio was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia when he was 18 years old. He went through medical treatments, and was then in remission for 10 years. But at 28 years old, he was again diagnosed with leukemia. Medical treatments worked again…but didn’t eradicate the cancer completely. The situation changed after he attended an Advanced Week Long Retreat in Cancun in 2019.

0:33 Can you get vitamin A from vegetables?
2:20 Good sources of vitamin A

Today I want to cover the fascinating benefits of vitamin A and how to get vitamin A in your diet. There are a lot of benefits of vitamin A not just for your immune system but for your vision as well. Vitamin A is also essential for your inner skin (like the inside of your sinuses, throat, lungs, and digestive system).

Many people think they can get the vitamin A they need by consuming vegetables. However, true vitamin A is called retinol. This is the active form of vitamin A. At best, you’re only going to convert 3% of the precursor of vitamin A (b-carotene), which is in vegetables. On top of that, very few people can actually convert previtamin A to the active form of vitamin A.

Here’s a look at what you would need to consume to get about 9,000 mcg of the active form of vitamin A (retinol):

• Beef liver — 3 oz.
• Cooked carrots — 4.4 pounds
• Raw carrots — 40 pounds
• Cooked kale — 50 cups
• Raw kale — 454 cups

Good sources of vitamin A (retinol):
• Cod liver oil
• Grass-fed liver
• Raw milk cheese (preferably sheep cheese)
• Grass-fed butter

In this video, we’re going to talk about fibrocystic breast. What is it, and what is the best remedy?

Fibrocystic breast is a form of hyperplasia, which is an excessive amount of fibrous tissue that develops in the breast. This could be a precursor to cancer.

This situation is actually an iodine deficiency. Iodine protects the body from excessive amounts of estrogen—especially in the breast.

The best food sources of iodine are:
• Sea kelp
• Seaweed
• Saltwater fish
• Shellfish
• Egg yolk

In Japan, where they consume a lot of iodine-rich foods, they happen to have very low breast cancer mortality rates. Japan has a breast cancer mortality rate of 6.6/100,000, and the U.S. has a mortality rate of 27.7/100,000.

Estrogen-treated mice with an iodine deficiency developed cysts. By supplementing them with iodine, there was a 77.7% beneficial effect.

The 7 Nutrient-Dense Foods for Keto

0:00 Nutrients on keto
3:00 Trace minerals
3:33 Iron
4:50 Antioxidants and phytonutrients
5:25 A few of the most nutrient-dense foods

Today I want to cover the top nutrient-dense foods on keto. Certain nutrients are very easy to get, but some are very difficult. Out of all of the nutrients, the one that might be hardest to get is vitamin D. It’s actually next to impossible to get the vitamin D you need from food alone. On the flip side, vitamin K1 is probably one of the vitamins that’s easiest to get. Vitamin B6 is also pretty easy to get.

It can be difficult to get the amount of potassium you need unless you consume a lot of vegetables (at least 7 cups per day). However, you can also get some potassium from meats. Magnesium is another one that many people are deficient in, but if you’re consuming enough vegetables, you’re going to get magnesium.

When getting vitamin A, you need to make sure you’re getting plenty of the active form (retinol) and not just pre-vitamin A. Pre-vitamin A is found in vegetable sources like spinach and kale. A few great sources of the active form of vitamin A are organ meats and egg yolks. Omega-3 fatty acids can also be difficult to get unless you’re consuming foods such as fatty fish, organ meats, or grass-fed animal products.

Many people are deficient in trace minerals. Unless you consume foods like sea kelp or shellfish, you may not get enough trace minerals. However, there are a good amount of trace minerals in organ meats.

The most bioavailable iron is from animal products. Animal products are also a good source of vitamin B12. Vegetables and berries are good sources of vitamin C.

A few great sources of antioxidants and phytonutrients are garlic, many spices and herbs, and classes of vegetables like cruciferous.

7 nutrient-dense foods:
1. Organ meats
2. Shellfish
3. Salmon
4. Cruciferous vegetables
5. Salad (at least 7 cups)
6. Grass-fed meat
7. Eggs

Today I’m going to share a unique tip on the fastest way to get rid of knee pain. You can actually try this for any type of arthritis or stiffness, even in areas like your lower back, shoulders, or neck.

I believe the secret is really to eliminate omega-6 fatty acids from the diet and replace them with omega-3 fatty acids. You would really want to avoid any type of vegetable oils in your diet.

Omega-6 fatty acids are probably the most common reason people have inflammation. These fats are in so many foods like mayonnaise and even certain salad dressings.

Examples of vegetable oils you would want to avoid:
• Soy
• Corn
• Cottonseed
• Canola
• Safflower
• Sunflower

Better alternatives to cook with:
• Butter
• Olive oil
• Coconut oil

A few more foods high in omega-6 fatty acids:
• Nuts
• Seeds
• Peanut butter and nut butters
• Chicken (in high amounts)
• Tofu

Foods high in omega-3 fatty acids:
• Fatty fish (wild-caught)
• Shellfish
• Cod liver oil

In this video, we’re going to talk about six powerful ways you can trigger more ketones. If you’re on a ketogenic diet and you want to boost your ketosis, these are ways you can boost your ketones.

1. Fasting – the longer you fast, the more ketones you will produce. Intermittent fasting and prolonged fasting can help boost your ketones significantly.

2. Low carbs – lowering your carbs also lowers your insulin, which helps your body produce more ketones.

3. Prolonged intense exercise – when you burn up your stored sugar, you start to run more on ketones.

4. Alcoholism – damage to your liver will cause you to produce more ketones.

5. Uncontrolled type 1 diabetes – type 1 diabetes stops your body from producing insulin, which helps you produce more ketones.

6. MCT – medium-chain triglycerides can help speed up your ketone production.

Obviously, #4 and #5 are not the ways you should get your ketones. Avoid alcohol at all costs and make sure you talk with your doctor about controlling your type 1 diabetes.

Instead of doing #3 (prolonged intense exercise), do high-intensity interval training (HIIT). This is far more sustainable and healthy in the long-run. Avoid prolonged intense exercise if you have serious health issues.
