In this video, we’re going to talk about some really interesting benefits of sunlight that go beyond just vitamin D.

When the sun hits your skin, certain chemical reactions occur that generate vitamin D from the cholesterol in your skin. You actually need cholesterol to make vitamin D.

Health benefits of sunlight that go beyond vitamin D:

1. When the sun hits your skin and retinas, it can increase serotonin, which can potentially affect your mood.

2. The sun can reduce melatonin. Melatonin helps you sleep.

3. The heat and humidity from the sun may have the power to decrease viral loads.

4. UV has antibacterial effects.

5. The sun can increase resistance to infection.

6. The infrared wavelength of the sun can be great for wound healing and decreasing pain.

How to Deal With Someone Sneezing Around You

Let’s say there was someone sneezing around you with the potential of having COVID-19. Here’s what you need to know now.

In this video, we’re going to talk about sneezing and COVID-19.

Sneezing is actually not one of the symptoms of COVID-19. Most likely, it’s the pollen that’s causing them to sneeze.

For the virus to invade the body, it has to go in through the eyes, mouth, nose, or from touching the face.

The great majority of people with COVID-19 had no symptoms or very mild coronavirus symptoms. Two important factors that determine the intensity of the symptoms is the viral load (how concentrated the virus particles are), and the health of the immune system.

COVID-19 has also been found to be potentially much more contagious than previously thought. But, this also means that COVID-19 could be less deadly than previously thought.

Different variables involved in someone sneezing on you:

1. Number or concentration of viruses (breathing or talking has much less than coughing or sneezing)
2. Velocity
3. Droplet size
4. Distance (3-6 feet)
5. Susceptibility (support the immune system with vitamin D3, zinc, and vitamin C)
6. Environment

The “Intermittent” Part of Fasting and Exercise Is Vital

NEW KETO RECIPES CHANNEL: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnAGH-jp4YXl30rir1BPrxA/

Why are intermittent fasting and intermittent exercise so important? Find out.

0:35 Sustained = stress
1:36 Fasting
2:47 Exercise
5:06 Recovery

Today we’re going to talk about “intermittent” and what that really means. We’re going to cover intermittent fasting, the biggest intermittent fasting mistake, and intermittent exercise.

A healthy body has really good circadian rhythms. These are natural waves of rhythm like:

• Sleep cycles
• Eating cycles
• Rhythms of digestion
• Rhythms of hormones

Anything we do of a sustained nature adds more stress to the body. For example, one of the most important things intermittent fasting does is correcting digestion. The body was not designed to consume on a sustained basis (snacking in between meals). Sustained eating can create sustained stimulation of insulin, which can lead to insulin resistance and diabetes. It’s very important to fast, and not eat anything when you’re fasting. But, you can drink water and take supplements during fasting.

High-intensity interval training is intermittent exercise. This can help stimulate growth hormone. Doing this high-intensity exercise intermittently is important because it won’t stimulate the opposing hormone: cortisol. It keeps the stress down while still stimulating growth hormone. The growth hormone is stimulated by the high intensity. But, cortisol is stimulated by duration, which you’re keeping short.

Recovery is also very important. During the downtime, when you’re relaxing, you need to stay off your phone and try to keep your mind from overthinking.

2:06 Looking back at the Somalian group
2:33 Distance from the sun and COVID-19
3:08 Looking at all of the factors

Today we’re going to talk about the cheapest potential COVID-19 therapy in the world. What we’re talking about is the sun, and what it can do to give you vitamin D. Of course, this is actually free, all you have to do is go out and get 20 minutes of sun.

Somalian immigrants make up a very small community in Stockholm, Sweden. They make up less than 1% of the entire population of Stockholm. Yet, in Stockholm, 40% of all of the COVID-19 deaths were from this small group.

What puts people at risk for COVID-19?:
• Pre-existing health problems (obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, COPD, asthma)

This group didn’t have many of these problems, and they weren’t all over the age of 60. But, what they do have is darker skin. The melanin that changes the color of the skin—protects against UV. But, it also prevents the absorption of vitamin D. In Chicago, 72% of deaths due to the coronavirus were African American.

The Somalian group also has a dress code that requires them to be almost fully covered, which can prevent vitamin D absorption.

It has also been found that the great majority of COVID-19 deaths were in the Northern hemisphere. This could be related to the distance between where you are and the sun, and how much vitamin D you’re going to get.

Looking at more factors:

Seasonality—
Certain viruses are seasonal. This could have something to do with less vitamin D, temperature, and humidity.

Vitamin D is a very powerful immune modulator—
It directly regulates a lot of different parts of the immune system.

An Indonesian study—
In this study, the mortality rate was much higher in the group that was deficient in vitamin D than the group that had normal levels of vitamin D.

Vitamin D is very anti-inflammatory—
It could help reduce the cytokine storm, which can be deadly.

Vitamin D is anti-thrombotic—
It helps prevent blood clots.

Pre-existing conditions—
People with the pre-existing conditions that could cause complications with COVID-19 typically also seem to have a vitamin D deficiency.

Age—
The older you are, the less vitamin D you have.

Today we’re going to talk about the benefits of hydroxychloroquine that actually go beyond just killing COVID-19.

Hydroxychloroquine has been used for over 70 years as a malaria drug. It’s been repurposed for COVID-19. Hydroxychloroquine is also a very inexpensive drug.

There are some reports that hydroxychloroquine is ineffective and could even be dangerous. But when you look deeper into the study their claims are based on—it’s bogus.

Hydroxychloroquine benefits that go beyond killing the coronavirus:

1. It’s a zinc ionophore
2. It’s antithrombotic
3. It’s an alkalizer
4. It suppresses an overactive immune system
5. It’s a powerful anti-inflammatory
6. It helps reduce autoantibodies

But, there may be a point of no return. It’s unclear whether hydroxychloroquine could have as many benefits if the person is in the later stages of the virus when there is already too much damage.

Oxidative Stress, Immune System and Viral Infection

Here’s what you need to know about oxidative stress, the immune system, viral infection—and how it all relates to COVID-19.

Timestamps
0:12 What is oxidative stress?
0:45 Viral infection and oxidation
1:55 Risk factors related to COVID-19
3:42 The mitochondria and COVID-19
5:27 How can we switch things back?

Today we’re going to talk about oxidative stress and viruses.

Oxidative stress is basically a situation where you have an imbalance of too much oxidation and not enough antioxidants.

Your body makes both oxidants and antioxidants.

1. Endogenous oxidation is the oxidation that your own body creates—it comes from within.
2. Exogenous oxidation is coming from outside of the body. A few examples would be: pollution, smoking, and consuming refined carbs and sugar.

With the COVID-19 virus, on a blood test, you’ll likely see high amounts of neutrophils and low lymphocytes.

Neutrophils release both hydrogen peroxide and bleach as weapons against the virus, but this creates a lot of oxidation. So, the immune system is creating a lot of oxidation in response to COVID-19 or some other virus. The virus is also creating more immune reactions, which contributes to even more oxidation.

There are also risk factors related to COVID-19 that can create oxidation, such as:

• Diabetes
• Obesity
• High blood pressure

With these pre-existing conditions, the endogenous antioxidants are way low. So, there is an imbalance created from the virus itself, the immune reaction, and the pre-existing condition.

To have a long healthy life and minimize the complications of this condition and the side effects of the viral infection, you need to bring your antioxidants up and your oxidation down.

Viruses like COVID-19 also attack the mitochondria. This is called apoptosis—your cells are dying. But, some cells will survive and adapt. Because the normal machinery to burn fuel is damaged, the cells with adapt to another way of using fuel called fermentation. The body doesn’t usually use this system, but it will use it as a survival mechanism if it needs to. While using this backup system, these cells metabolize glucose. This is one way a virus can actually trigger cancer. Cancer cells create a lot of inflammation, free-radical damage, and oxidation.

How do we switch things back?

• Healthy keto
• Consume foods high in antioxidants

Great antioxidants:

• Vitamins A, C, D, E
• Alpha-lipoic acid
• Copper
• Zinc
• Selenium
• Manganese
• Vitamins B1, B2, B6, B12

Things that will help increase antioxidants:

• Supporting your microbes
• NAC
• Quercetin
• Fasting
• Exercise
• Sleep
