In this video, I want to share with you the best exercise for a fatty liver. Exercise will deliver about 15% of the results when it comes to fat loss. First, you will want to lower your carbohydrate intake, do intermittent fasting, and add more choline to your diet.

A fatty liver can cause inflammation, which can lead to cirrhosis of the liver. If you want to prevent inflammation and cirrhosis, you have to lower your liver fat.

The liver is the only organ that can completely regenerate. The bad news is that it can take a lot of time—often one to three years.

The benefits of exercise for a fatty liver are:
1. Increases fat oxidation
2. Improves insulin resistance
3. Reduces the conversion of glucose to fat
4. Reduces inflammation
5. Reduces fibrosis

The best exercise for a fatty liver is ANY exercise. As long as you get your body moving, you’re going to benefit. This includes:
• High-intensity training
• Low-intensity workouts
• Compound resistance exercises
• Weight training

2:43 The trick you need to know about

Today we’re going to talk about how exercise affects immunity. If you’re doing regular exercise, you could greatly enhance your immune system.

Health benefits of exercise for the immune system:
1. Heightened immune surveillance
2. Increased lymph circulation
3. Delays the negative effect of aging on the immune system
4. Enhances immune defense mechanisms
5. Lowers mental stress

The trick is to exercise in a way that won’t activate too much cortisol. To do that, it’s best to make sure you don’t overtrain and that you get enough sleep. The healthier you are, and the more recovery you have, the less you have to worry about activating too much cortisol.

Certain people may be able to do marathons and not have it phase their immune system. But, people who have higher levels of cortisol could get sick when they try to exercise. For most people, doing regular and consistent exercise is extremely beneficial for the immune system.

2:23 What to do

Today we’re going to talk about how cancer has the potential to kill cancer cells.

There is an interesting study that looked at certain genes that were either expressed or suppressed by doing a 30-day fasting program. During this study, the group of people fasted from dawn to sunset (roughly 15 hours) a day. They did this for 30 days. Certain genes can actually turn on cancer, while others turn off cancer. During this study, they found that certain genes that suppress tumor and cancer cells were enhanced.

Potential benefits of fasting for cancer:
1. Turn on cancer suppressor genes
2. Turn off genes that express cancer
3. Enhance natural killer cells and killer T-cells
4. Promotes autophagy (cleans up damaged proteins in the DNA and mitochondria)
5. Increases resistance to chemo drugs (resist the complications of chemo)

If you’re going to fast, it may be beneficial to try too fast for as long as you can. But, you may also want to take nutrients as you fast.

Try This for Depression

Today we’re going to talk about depression and a few natural things you can try for depression. Many times people will see a doctor because of depression, and the doctor will want to load them up on prescription medications. The problem is that in some situations, the person can never come off of the medication, and the medication can cause serious side-effects.

If you have depression, it may be beneficial to look at your diet and see what could be improved. You may want to consider the heathy keto diet and intermittent fasting. Vitamin D may also be beneficial.

Something else that could be very important to do is to fix your gut. There is a huge connection between what’s going on in your large intestine and your overall mood.

It has been found that with major depressive disorder, there are high levels of certain microbes and low levels of other microbes in the gut. These microbes could have a huge influence on your overall mood. There is one microbe in particular that could have many different benefits for someone who is depressed. This microbe is called lactobacillus bifidobacterium.

Lactobacillus bifidobacterium can be found in foods like:
1. Bulgarian yogurt (high-quality and high-fat yogurt)
2. Kimchi
3. Sauerkraut
4. Cheese
5. Kefir
6. Pickles

This microbe could be beneficial because it helps make certain neurotransmitters like GABA and serotonin. Microbes like this one also make vitamins, including B1 and other B vitamins.

If you can’t consume these foods on a regular basis, you could try taking a probiotic with lactobacillus in it.

The Best Food for Chronic Sinus Issue

2:11 Tips and tricks for sinusitis

In this video, we’re going to talk about the absolute best food for chronic sinusitis. Sinusitis is an inflammatory condition that can act like year-round allergies. It can cause:
• Stuffy sinuses
• Allergy-like symptoms
• Difficulty breathing
• Poor sleep
And numerous other sinus problems.

It’s important to understand that your sinuses are lined with a delicate membrane called the mucus membrane. You also have bacteria in your sinuses that help protect the mucus membrane from pathogens.

When there’s an imbalance of bacteria, you can develop an overgrowth of microbes, particularly fungus. The remedy we’re talking about today is going to help support the microbes that protect the mucus membrane from fungal infections.

There was a small study in 2012, which found that there’s a shift in a particular microbe with those who have sinusitis called Lactobacillus Sakei. This microbe happens to be found in kimchi, which is a Korean dish consisting of fermented vegetables, including cabbage, radish, onion, garlic, ground chili, and ginger.

Together, these ingredients have a powerful effect on pathogens. They are antifungal, antiviral, and anti-candida. The brands of kimchi that are known to have significant amounts of Lactobacillus Sakei include:
• SunJan’s
• Sinto Gourmet
• Mama-O’s Premium
• White Napa
• Farmhouse Culture
• Ozuke
• Mr. Kimchi

You can also take Lactobacillus Sakei on its own in probiotic form. Lano Sinus Probiotic Powder is one brand you can use. Keep in mind that I am not associated with these companies whatsoever, and I do not make anything from their product sales.

You can actually take some of the juice from kimchi, dilute it by 50% with water, dip a q-tip in it, and rub it on the inside of your nostrils. This will help provide your mucus membranes with Lactobacillus Sakei. Just keep in mind that the chili powder, ginger, and garlic could cause a burning sensation.

You can apply this a few times a day for a week or two. Additionally, you’ll want to consume kimchi regularly to start building up your friendly microbes.

The Best Food for Polyps in the Colon

NEW KETO RECIPES CHANNEL: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnAGH-jp4YXl30rir1BPrxA/

This could, hands down, be the best food for polyps in the colon. Check this out.

Timestamps

0:05 What are polyps?
0:37 Foods to prevent polyps
2:00 How much of these foods to consume

In this short video, we’re going to talk about the best food to help prevent polyps. A polyp is an abnormal tissue, or pedunculated tissue, in your colon. Certain colon polyps can increase the risk of colon cancer.

The best food to help prevent polyps may be sauerkraut or pickled vegetables. This is because they contain lactobacillus, which is a specific type of lactic acid bacteria.

Lactobacillus:
• Inhibits pathogens
• Is an antioxidant
• Is anti-inflammatory
• Helps to tight junctions in your colon
• Binds to carcinogens
• Can decrease mutations
• Can decrease pre-cancer growth

With sauerkraut or pickled vegetables, you are not only getting probiotics but also prebiotics. A prebiotic is fiber that feeds the microbes and makes short-chain fatty acids, one being butyrate. This could help reduce the stimulation of polyps and decrease inflammation.

You don’t need a tremendous amount of sauerkraut or pickled vegetables, but it may be beneficial to include these foods in your diet throughout the week.

Getting Arrhythmias After You Break a Fast?

NEW KETO RECIPES CHANNEL: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnAGH-jp4YXl30rir1BPrxA/

1:08 How electrolytes are stored
2:03 How to help prevent arrhythmias after fasting

In this video, I want to talk to you about what you can do if you experience arrhythmia after breaking a fast. Arrhythmia is an abnormal heartbeat—this could be a palpitation or a skipped beat. Keep in mind that these are only my opinions. Check with your doctor before taking any of my advice.

Arrhythmias can often occur when you are not doing keto, but you’re doing fasting. If you do a long fast—say, over 48 hours—and then you consume a big high-carb meal. You may notice some problems in your body simply because you’re going to spike your insulin levels.

Insulin moves electrolytes from the blood to inside the cell. This causes a sudden shift in potassium, magnesium, sodium, chloride, and phosphorous. When this shift happens, you have significantly fewer electrolytes in the blood.

On top of this issue, you may already be deficient in electrolytes from fasting—particularly if you aren’t taking electrolytes regularly while on a fast.

This is a more common problem you may see if you are fasting for prolonged periods of time.

Here’s what you should do:
1. Stay on keto
2. Take electrolytes during your fast
3. Break long fasts with a smaller meal

In this video, we’re going to talk about asthma and why certain people get asthma, and others don’t.

Asthma is a chronic lung inflammatory condition. It’s really a problem with your immune system. Symptoms of asthma include:
• Wheezing
• Coughing
• Chest tightness
• Shortness of breath

Symptoms tend to be worse at night, while exercising, or when exposed to air pollutants and allergens.

One of the best remedies for asthma is sunlight. This helps increase your levels of vitamin D.

397,000 people die a year from asthma symptoms. It often begins when you’re younger than 12 years old. Asthma comes from the Greek word “panting.”

Exposure to bacteria in early childhood helps prevent asthma. Conversely, living in a hyper-clean environment can increase the risk of developing asthma. Exposure to pathogens is what builds up the immune system. In fact, you have a lower risk of developing asthma if you live on a farm or have pets—likely due to more exposure to bacteria.

Being given antibiotics in early childhood increases your risk of asthma. Children delivered via C-section are more likely to develop asthma.

There’s an asthma remedy that involves Buteyko therapy. Buteyko therapy is a breathing exercise that may improve asthma symptoms. Breathing exercises activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which also reduces stress.

5:02 How to increase antioxidant levels

In this video, I want to talk about how to boost your antioxidant levels. Just so you know, your body makes antioxidants—they are known as endogenous antioxidants.

You can also get antioxidants from your food or from supplements—these are known as exogenous antioxidants.

Why are antioxidants so important? They neutralize these things called free radicles and oxidants that can create oxidation. The lessen the damage in your biological machinery, including your DNA. Damaged DNA can shorten your lifespan and cause disease.

Free radicles are unpaired electrons that essentially try to steal electrons from healthy tissue. Antioxidants donate an electron to free radicles to neutralize them.

The problem is that the antioxidant now becomes a free radicle, which then borrows an electron from another antioxidant—and so on and so on. This is why antioxidants are a network.

Always avoid synthetic antioxidants, including synthetic vitamins.

One of the most powerful antioxidants that your body has is glutathione from the liver. Glutathione sources include:
• Beef
• Fish
• Chicken
• Cruciferous vegetables (especially radish)
• Garlic
• Onion
• Avocado
• Asparagus
• Spinach

Another powerful antioxidant is selenium. Selenium sources include:
• Brazil nuts
• Fish
• Sea kelp
• Organ meats

Many natural vitamins also have antioxidant properties. About 50% of the antioxidants in your blood come from uric acid.

Those on high-carb diets often have a lot of oxidation and free radicles from glucose.

There are a handful of things we can do to improve the antioxidant network:
• Consume healthy food rich in antioxidants
• Take supplements rich in antioxidants, like wheatgrass juice powder
• Keep stress down
• Get plenty of sleep
• Exercise
• Fasting/intermittent fasting

Today we’re going to talk about blood clots and what you can do to help prevent blood clotting naturally.

A blood clot is a group of cells that are stuck together and can’t circulate through the blood vessels. This causes them to get hung up in certain parts of the body. For example, if they get hung up in the heart, it could result in a heart attack. You can get clots stuck anywhere in the body.

In the body, there is a balance of clotting factors and anti-clotting factors that work together to keep the blood at the right consistency.

A few things that increase your risk of developing a clot:
• Estrogen
• Pregnancy
• Obesity
• Diabetes

One of the biggest factors that can increase your risk of stroke is insulin resistance. With a clot, you’re dealing with fibrin. If you have insulin resistance, the enzymes that break down fibrin are diminished, which causes you to be at a higher risk of developing clots.

To help prevent blood clotting naturally, one of the most important things you could do is focus on fixing your diet. The healthy keto diet and intermittent fasting can help get you on the right track. There are also a few natural anti-clotting remedies you can try as well.

How to potentially prevent blood clotting naturally:
1. Nattokinase
2. Lumbrokinase
3. Serrapeptase
4. Bromelain
5. Vitamin E

Today we’re going to talk about fasting and gallstones. Gallstones are created from having a super concentrated amount of cholesterol with low amounts of bile. Bile breaks down cholesterol. If you don’t have enough bile, then you could have a formation of cholesterol that can crystalize into stones.

During a study involving 9 healthy women, researchers extracted bile from the women at different times while they were fasting. They were looking at the saturation index—the more saturated, the higher the risk of a gallstone.

They found significantly greater saturation at 15 hours of fasting compared to 10 hours. But, at 20 hours of fasting, it reverted.

There were also a few more important points mentioned in this study:

1. It looked like the gallbladder stopped concentrating at a certain point when the person is fasting.

2. There might be some emptying of the gallbladder during a fast, replaced with a less concentrated amount of bile.

In this study, the diet that the women were on included about 95g of carbs. But, with the keto diet, it may be best to stay around 20-50g of carbs, which could potentially make a difference.

What Vitamin D Does to Your Immune System

4:58 Sources of vitamin D

In this video, I’m going to talk to you about what vitamin D does to your immune system. I may have covered this in the past, but I think this is an important topic you should know more about.

Vitamin D is intimately connected to every single immune reaction. In fact, white blood cells have the ability to activate vitamin D.

One effect that some viruses have on the immune system is to turn off vitamin D receptors. They know that vitamin D is important, so they prevent it from becoming useful so they can thrive.

Vitamin D deficiencies occur when there’s not enough sun—like wintertime. This is one reason why we get a spike in the flu and other viruses in the winter. The Spanish flu pandemic of 1819 peaked in January.

Between November and March, we have far more instances of autoimmune diseases, like lupus, MS, type 1 diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, and inflammatory bowel disease.

Vitamin D has natural anti-inflammatory properties. Inflammation is a huge contributor to things like autoimmune diseases.

Vitamin D is also an immune modulator. It helps regulate your immune system, so it’s not working too much (like attacking healthy body tissue) and not too little (like not being able to fight off viruses).

Vitamin D also helps create antimicrobial compounds, such as cathelicidins and defensin.

It is virtually impossible to get enough vitamin D from food alone. You need to get vitamin D from the sun.
