3:53 How to bulletproof your immune systemÂ
In this video, we’re going to talk about AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome), as well as a few natural remedies for AIDS.Â
When you get AIDS, you basically lose a good portion of your immune system. But, there’s one key immune cell that HIV targets called the T helper cell. When the T helper cells start to drop down to a certain level, you really start losing your immune system.Â
You also lose the ratio of your T helper cells to other T cells, which creates an imbalance. When you get AIDS, you start losing over 50% of your T helper cells in the gut, which can create a cascade of other issues.Â
One of the best potential natural remedies for AIDS that I found is called tang cao.Â
Tang Cao:
• It’s a combination of herbsÂ
• There are phase 3 clinical trialsÂ
• It showed a significant increase in the T helper cell counts
• It showed properties that strengthen the immune system with low toxicity Â
• There was less fatigueÂ
• There was less hair loss
• There was an improvement in appetiteÂ
• There was less diarrheaÂ
• It could potentially decrease the HIV replication
• It could potentially decrease secondary infectionsÂ
Other herbs for AIDS:
• Garlic (freeze-dried garlic or black garlic)
• Bitter gourd
• AstragalusÂ
• LicoriceÂ
• GinsengÂ
Other things you could do:
• Healthy keto and intermittent fasting
• Take B vitaminsÂ
• Take a natural vitamin C complex
• Take a natural vitamin E complex

A Common Keto Fat Ingredient That Will Stop Keto

Have you been using this common keto fat? It could stop weight loss!

3:38 What to do if you’re plateauing on keto
4:20 Foods high in omega-3 fatty acids
Today I want to tell you about a common keto-friendly ingredient that could stop your weight loss.
Keto is a low-carb diet. Most people know that, on keto, they need to cut out sugar and grains. But, it’s also important to cut out grain oils, or more specifically, seed oils. Many people call grain oils vegetable oils, but they’re really not vegetable oils. They don’t get the oil from vegetables—they get it from the seed of the plant.
The problem with grain oil is omega-6 fats. Omega-6 fats are highly inflammatory. They can actually trigger insulin resistance just as much as sugar or refined grains. Grain oils can also get stuck in the body and clog up the liver and brain. Not to mention that many grain oils are GMO.
Oils and foods higher in omega-6 fats:
• Soy
• Cottonseed
• Canola
• Corn
• Safflower
• Sunflower
• Almond flour
• Peanut butter
I’m not saying you can’t have some things higher in omega-6 fats like almond flour and peanut butter, but you might want to balance it out by getting omega-3 fats. An average person in America has 15 times more omega-6 than omega-3.
Top sources (some are keto, some are not)
1. Chicken
2. Grain desserts
3. Salad dressing
4. Chips
5. Nuts/seeds
6. Pizza
7. Bread
8. Fries
9. Pasta
The definition of keto is low-carb, and it doesn’t really emphasize the type of fat you should be consuming. I believe healthy keto is the best way to go.
Healthier oils:
• Coconut oil
• Butter
• Olive oil
• Avocado oil
If you’re plateauing on keto, you may be consuming too many grain oils, or you could be using too much almond flour or peanut butter.
Foods high in omega-3 fatty acids:
• Fish
• Cod liver oil
• Grass-fed beef and other animal products
• Walnuts
• Chia seed
• Brussels sprouts
Do not use:
• Soy oil
• Cottonseed oil
• Canola oil
• Corn oil
Limit:
• Safflower oil
• Sunflower oil
Reduce these if you have a problem with inflammation or you’ve hit a plateau:
• Almond flour
• Peanut butter

Zinc is crucial for the immune system, but how much is too much zinc? Find out.

2:53 How to bulletproof your immune system
We’ve talked a lot about the importance of zinc. Zinc can be very beneficial. If you’re trying to support your immune system, zinc is crucial. But, it is possible to have too much zinc. If you take large amounts of zinc over a short period of time, there shouldn’t be an issue. But, if you take large amounts over a long period of time, this could create a copper deficiency.Â
Copper deficiency symptoms:
• NauseaÂ
• VomitingÂ
• PainÂ
• DiarrheaÂ
• High LDLÂ
• Low HDL
• SwaybackÂ
• AnemiaÂ
• Paleness
• Decreased appetite
• Irritability
• Fatigue
• Problems building collagenÂ
Zinc and copper work together. If you have too much zinc, you can deplete copper. When you take zinc, it may be beneficial to take copper with it, as well as all of the trace minerals together. This way, you don’t have to worry about a deficiency.
An example of an extremely high amount of zinc would be if you were to take about 300mg for several weeks.Â
Typically, if you have a lung issue, you may want to take 225mg of zinc along with copper and trace minerals. If you were to take below 100mg of zinc, you could be fine to continue taking it for a longer period of time.Â
Although there is a such thing as zinc toxicity in large amounts, many people are actually deficient in zinc. The body doesn’t retain zinc, so it’s important to consume foods that contain zinc. You want to think about the amount of zinc you’re getting, and also consider taking it with copper and trace minerals.Â

In this video, we’re going to talk about your microbiome and how it protects against cancer.
Your microbiome has a huge influence over your immune system. About 70% of your immune system is located in the gut. Friendly bacteria have a direct anti-cancer effect. Taking antibiotics, which harm your friendly gut bacteria, increases your cancer risk by 18%.
The friendly bacteria that make up your microbiome consume fiber. Consuming vegetables will increase your fiber intake and, in turn, help support and diversify your microbiome.
Microbes produce a type of fat called butyrate. Butyrate has the capacity to reduce your risk of cancer.
20% of all cancers are triggered by pathogens, like H. pylori, EBV, and HPV. A primary task of our microbiome is to limit the pathogens in your body. People who these viral or bacterial infections often have a problem with their microbiome.
Your microbes, and the butyrate they produce, have anti-inflammatory effects. Cancer tends to migrate to areas of inflammation—this is why cancer often appears in areas where there has been an injury in the past.
Butyrate also plays an important role in decreasing insulin resistance. Guess what cancer feeds off of? Sugar! If your blood sugar levels are off due to insulin resistance, you will have an increased risk of cancer.
Butyrate supports the gut barrier, which helps prevent leaky gut and inflammation.
If you frequently experience constipation, this is a sign that your microbiome is lacking. Probiotics can help replenish friendly gut microbes to support your microbiome and help you prevent constipation.
Prebiotics are important for gut health. The best way to get fiber on a keto diet is to consume a wide range of low-carb vegetables—especially cabbage and kimchi.
Fasting increases the survival of your microbiome and helps diversify your microbiome.

2:47 Diet and the liver
Today we’re going to talk about why you might want to take vitamin E for a fatty liver.
There is a condition called NASH (non-alcoholic steatohepatitis), which is basically a fatty liver that has some inflammation. There have been many studies on using vitamin E for NASH.
Vitamin E has demonstrated significant improvement in:
1. Steatosis (the fatty liver portion)
2. Inflammation
3. Ballooning of the liver cells (degeneration)
Essentially, vitamin E may have the power to reduce the fat, inflammation, and the death of the liver cells in adult patients with NASH that don’t have diabetes or cirrhosis.
In one study, they used a natural version of only one part of the vitamin E complex. However, it may be beneficial to have the whole complex. They also used 800 IUs of this one part. Other studies have used up to 1000 IUs, while others only used 400 IUs. Between 800 and 1000 IUs may be the best idea.
Vitamin E may help stop the transition of going from having a fatty liver to an inflamed liver. It’s a very powerful antioxidant that may help calm free radicle damage, prevent inflammation, and prevent fibrosis.
Taking vitamin E alone may not change anything very much. But, changing the diet as well may make a more significant difference. The healthy keto diet with intermittent fasting may be the best way to go. Adding vitamin C in a food complex with choline may also be beneficial.

4:13 How to bulletproof your immune system course
In this video, I’m going to answer a question I get over and over—when do you lower dietary fat on keto? There are a few things you need to know about this topic.
A high-fat diet is only bad if you are also consuming a lot of carbs. Keep in mind that the keto diet is not primarily a high-fat diet—it’s a low-carb diet. A diet that is high in fat and high in carbs is not a keto diet.
I’ve also found that low-carb and low-fat diets are hard on the liver (especially with lean protein), which causes a lot of digestive issues.
What if you have familial hypercholesterolemia? If you go on keto and cut down on carbs, some people are able to lower their cholesterol—others do need to cut down on their fat consumption. This is something you want to talk to your doctor about.
You may want to lower your fat temporarily if you have gallbladder issues or a bile deficiency. Bile is vital to fat digestion. Taking purified bile salts, choline, or lipase can help with fat digestion.
Another reason why you may want to lower your fat is if you’ve been on keto and your weight has plateaued. In this case, you can lower your fat to 75 grams per day. This will allow your body to tap into your own fat reserves.

3:45 What to do about autonomic neuropathy
Today we’re going to talk about a very common yet under-diagnosed condition called autonomic neuropathy. Neuropathy means nerve damage. With autonomic, we’re dealing with a part of the nervous system called the autonomic nervous system, which controls things automatically. It works on its own.Â
The autonomic nervous system is a combination of:
• The fight or flight (stress response)
• The parasympathetic nervous system (rest or digest)
• The enteric system (another system that can control your digestive system)Â
The #1 cause of autonomic neuropathy is diabetes. But, you don’t end up with diabetes overnight. It’s a gradual condition that starts with high insulin, which leads to insulin resistance, then prediabetes, and finally, diabetes. Autonomic neuropathy is also a condition that gradually occurs. You could have one or more symptoms, which are really the beginning of this condition.Â
Just because you haven’t been diagnosed with diabetes doesn’t mean that your autonomic neuropathy isn’t related to a blood sugar issue. But, other causes of autonomic neuropathy could be an autoimmune condition to part of the nervous system, or a virus.Â
Symptoms of autonomic neuropathy:
1. Urinary retentionÂ
2. Hypertension
3. Abdominal painÂ
4. MalabsorptionÂ
5. GastroparesisÂ
6. Constipation
7. Sleep apneaÂ
8. Abnormal sweatingÂ
9. Orthostatic hypotension (POTS)Â
10. ArrhythmiasÂ
As far as having autonomic neuropathy of the genitals, you could experience symptoms ranging from pain to lack of function of those organs.Â
What you could do about autonomic neuropathy:
1. BenfotiamineÂ
2. Alpha-lipoic acidÂ

2:38 Things your skin can tell you about your liver: #9
Today we’re going to talk about the nine things your skin can tell you about your liver.
1. Yellow skinÂ
This could be jaundice, which is a liver condition. If your skin is slightly orange, it could be jaundice, or it could be that you’re drinking too much carrot juice.Â
2. Red palmsÂ
This could be something called palmar erythema, which could point to a problem with your liver.Â
3. Spider veins
Spider veins or spider angiomas in the upper part of the body are dilated blood vessels. This could happen because the liver is not able to break down estrogen. Really, this is an estrogen dominance problem. Â
4. White growths on the eyelidsÂ
This could be cholesterol build-up. Having a liver problem could create this build-up.Â
5. Purple flat bumpsÂ
This could be something called lichen planus, which could be an indication of a liver problem.Â
6. Purple/red spotsÂ
This could be on the lower part of the legs or arms and is called ecchymosis.Â
7. White scaly plaquing scalpÂ
This is also known as dandruff. This could be a symptom of a liver problem and could be caused by a deficiency in B2 and B6.Â
8. Chicken skinÂ
This looks like little red bumps on your hair follicles and is called hyperkeratosis. This could be a symptom of a liver problem, which is causing a deficiency in vitamin A and vitamin E.Â
9. Darker pigment on the knucklesÂ
This could be happening because of a liver problem that’s causing a B12 deficiency.Â

4:13 Final thoughts
In this video, I’m going to talk about how you can increase your autophagy with coffee and herbs. Autophagy means “self-eat.” This is the state in which your body begins to recycle damaged proteins and pathogens.
When proteins become damaged, they can wreak havoc on your body. To prevent this harm, your body breaks down damaged proteins with enzymes and creates new healthy proteins.
Autophagy is vital for:
• Reducing inflammation
• Increasing your lifespan and health
• Preventing cancer
• Slowing the aging process
There are several ways you can promote autophagy naturally:
1. Fasting – Fasting is a fantastic way to induce autophagy. It’s my opinion that fasting for 16-18 hours is ideal for autophagy—although few studies show an exact length of time for peak autophagy.
2. Exercise – Exercise is another excellent way to promote autophagy.
3. Coffee – Drinking coffee may help induce autophagy to some degree. I don’t recommend having much more than one cup of coffee each day. Way too much caffeine will affect your sleep, which can actually reduce autophagy.
4. Sulforaphane – This compound is a phytochemical that has health-protecting effects, including the ability to induce autophagy. You can get sulforaphane from fresh cruciferous vegetables or cruciferous supplements. You should be consuming plenty of vegetables (7-10 cups) every day.
5. Green tea (EGCG) – EGCG, or epigallocatechin gallate, is a powerful autophagy-inducing compound found in green tea. Additionally, EGCG is great for reducing inflammation and fighting off cancer cells.
6. Curcumin – Curcumin is a potent autophagy-promoting compound found in turmeric. Turmeric is often found in Indian foods like curry.
7. Resveratrol – This compound is primarily found in the skin of black grapes and red wine. Resveratrol has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and autophagy-promoting properties.

Vitamin D, Bile and Your Gallbladder
NEW KETO RECIPES CHANNEL: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnAGH-jp4YXl30rir1BPrxA/
There is an interesting connection between vitamin D, bile, and your gallbladder. Here’s what you need to know.

Today, we’re going to talk about the interesting connection between vitamin D, bile, and your gallbladder.Â
Vitamin D is probably one of the most important vitamins, yet it’s one of the most common vitamin deficiencies.Â
Vitamin D is important for:
• Bone growthÂ
• SleepÂ
• Blood sugars
• ImmunityÂ
• Inflammation
• Cardiovascular healthÂ
• The brainÂ
It’s almost impossible to get enough vitamin D from your diet. You can get vitamin D from the sun. But, you may not get enough vitamin D from the sun if you’re older, you have certain health conditions, your skin is darker, or during the winter months. There can also be issues with absorption that can cause you to not get enough vitamin D.Â
Absorption of vitamin D:
• Certain nutrients can help support the absorption of vitamin D (magnesium, B6, and K2).
• If you have malabsorption, you could have a difficult time absorbing vitamin D. Issues like damage to the inside of the colon, inflammatory conditions, an issue with the gallbladder, or a lack of bile could cause malabsorption.Â
• Certain viruses have a strategy of downgrading the vitamin D receptor. This can make it difficult to absorb vitamin D.Â
• Cortisol, which comes from stress or certain medications, can block the vitamin D receptor.Â
• Polymorphism is a mutation in the gene that is a part of the vitamin D receptor.Â
Â
A VDR agonist is something that connects to make everything work. A few examples of a VDR agonist would be:
• Vitamin D (in higher amounts)
• BenicarÂ
• Bile saltsÂ
