Threadworms, or pinworms, are the most common type of parasite found in humans in Australia, and half of all primary school kids will have them at some stage.
For adults, you can quickly eliminate an infestation by going on a fast. But for kids, fasting is not always recommended.
Pinworms are really common, so don’t be embarrassed if you or your kids have them.
It’s important to note that medications from the chemist will kill the parasites, but there’s a good chance they’ll come back if you don’t fix your internal environment.
